A newly launched data center firm is planning a campus in Ontario, Canada.
NorthVault AI this week announced plans for an AI data center campus in Ontario. The company said the site has 4MW of grid power available now and will see 43.75MW energized by Q3 2027, with a long-term path to 120MW.
"NorthVault has solved the two constraints that decide AI deals, power and connectivity," said Chris Tsiropoulos, President of NorthVault AI. "Qualified operators can deploy on a timeline few sites in North America can match."
Details on the site, including locations or build-out timelines, haven’t been shared.
The company’s website, however, notes the site will use direct-to-chip liquid cooling with closed-loop cooling systems. The site reportedly also has three carriers over diverse dark fiber to Toronto and Chicago.
Few other details about the company, which was founded last year, are available. According to LinkedIn, Tsiropoulos is based in London, Ontario, and was previously in real estate development.
NorthVault said the company is “in discussions” with neocloud operators and AI and high-performance computing tenants, and is accepting reservations for the currently available 4MW and evaluating strategic partnerships for the build-out.
